For sale or trade is this 1943 vintage Garand. Good piece that has been fetched up by a Bend Oregon gunsmith and is in fine shooting condition. I guess it would be called a rack grade and has at one time been re-barrelled. I have a DCM piece so I don't need this one, got this in on trade. Asking $950 OBO and am willing to trade with significant cash in my coffer. Mainly interested in early revolvers but not into the real inflated pieces seen out there today. I am in Lebanon but will meet with a buyer from Keizer to the Eugene area. All FFL fees are on the buyers dime. Please contact me through this post or 541-401-1063. I don't text.

A gentleman by the name of Terry Birdwell. He re-stocked the weapon and examined the inside and test fired the weapon to insure proper function.

In case anyone is worried about the two screw holes in the stock below the left side receiver, those appear to be the mounting points for the grenade launching sight, which is really, really cool. Buy this rifle, and pick up a sight and launcher of ebay or gunbroker and you'll have a sweet piece of history! I would certainly love to have this rifle.

In fact, PM sent.

You are correct on the holes. With that, I would love for you to be the new owner, let's talk. Louie 541-401-1063

As per our phone conversation yesterday regarding TE/ME, I inserted a bullet in the muzel and there is plenty of life in the barrel. I will talk to you as Saturday shapes up, Louie
