It's easy to check. When you open the cylinder is there a raised lip around the cylinder or is it flat all the way across?

Beautiful gun, I can see it's pinned and recessed just by the photos. When you open the cylinder, the model number is stamped on the frame. It's a Model 19, but what version, or "dash number"? For example, 19-2, 19-3, etc. Not that it matters, really, as I expect it's spoken for by now. Someone is getting a really nice, classic wheel gun.

Should be 19-4 or earlier if P&R. If origional grips probably a 19-3 or 19-4.

Wish it was shipping. My Papaw carried a nickle 19-4 snubbie as his police sidearm. I have a fondness for .357.
