Up for sale is an AR-15 barreled upper.. it's assembled by Mid State Firearms in Mississippi, so properly headspaced and test fired. Check out their site, they have some cool stuff (when in stock, unlike now).
I have not fired this upper (I do have another one of their uppers I have shot and it works great).
It's a 16" stainless 1:8 twist chambered for .223 Wylde, so it takes .223 and 5.56. I believe it's a Bear Creek Arsenal barrel, but I have no confirmation. Carbine gas length, M4 profile.
Dimpled barrel for a set screw and locktited gas block, slightly fancy flash hider. Mid State calls it their Spectre flash hider and I've seen it at other shops. It's longer and beefier than the usual A2.
The upper is a t-marked upper, circle forge mark. Comes with standard forward assist and dust cover.
The free-floating rail is a ~13" slant cut, Keymod accessory compatible. The top has a 12.625" Picatinny rail on it. The bottom is cut to 13.5".
I was going to disassemble it but only got as far as the gas block, and I re-screwed in the set screws and blue locktited it. Barrel nut never touched.
Selling to fund some other purchases, and I never built this out because it turns out I don't like the look of stainless on my ARs.
$300, meet in public place etc. Contact me via PM please.
