Probably taxed the bubblegum out of them too. $5.50 to $5.90 per pack here, probably $12-$15 down thar.

That's not "too bad" actually. Same as it was back in Mass.

Would drive an hour up to NH, do some hiking & stock up on them for half the price (...and booze 1/2 price too when we drank or would gift it..).

...almost makes it worthwhile to get into the cigarette/ booze/ magazine running business...if we lived in Southern Oregon...
