Surf perch are usually pretty good in the bays, as well as greenling. Ling cod are moving into the bays along the jetty's. There are probably salmon or steelhead somewhere down there.
Crab are usually nice and full this time of year, and will be eating more now that the molt and breeding is done with. Tho last I heard they were contaminated with some toxin.
I'm in the Northwest, so i'm not totally sure on the specifics. Check ODFW for the recreation report and regulations.

i am going to my son's in Eureka for thanksgiving. Are there any fish being caught out of the Southwest Oregon ports?
Its Fall Chinook time....that's what's hoppin' right now.
Maybe even an early Winter Steelhead.

The Chetco is one of the most beautiful rivers in Oregon.
That's where I'd be.
