Nice work! I wonder if this guy works at Benihana! I'm glad he and his wife lived and the bad guys are in intensive care!
That 1 dude just missed losing his ear and 2" lower that would have been it.
This makes me laugh. Good on Mr Costa
I sleep with a gun and big knife on the end table by my head for stuff like this.
Those big blades are always loaded and never run out of ammo lol.
What do you think would scare a MOFO worse? You pointing a gun at them or walking toward them with a smile and a big knife?
This modern Gurkha soldier did some good with his blade.
"It is better to die than be a coward."- Gurkha motto
I'm betting me in the nude with a smile and a big knife might actually be the scarier of the options lol
I'm not even gunna 'like' that one
Adrenalin and a big knife!
I keep a Cold Steel Kukri Machete next to the pistol that is in reach of my bed. I'm pretty old and shot for CQC anymore but my Bull Mastif, Lilly, will lend a hand. Or a fang!
Looking at the pictures the perp was lucky to still be standing upright after he took those slashes which I am guessing were not with a great deal of force else he would not be standing. The majority of humans are not wired to take another person's life hence the outcome here. We can look at this as the person with the sword was restraining themselves too.
Or he was swangin a great huge katana in close/tight quarters.
My thought was an untrained warrior wielding a less than Samurai sharp weapon, coupled with, the perps dodging and jumping back for they're lives. I also agree with deaf about the awkwardness of the sword.
I wonder if the Brits will charge the homeowner ??
Better for the slugs he learned at Benihana than the Lorena Bobbit school of cutlery.
Just Jim Did you hear about Lorena Bobbits sister Gloria? She pretty much tried to do the same thing Lorena did but she missed and stabbed the guy in the thigh. They did charge her with a mis da weiner.
I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Oh no, now there'll be regulations on katanas. Everything to let the innocent criminals have a good life in the UK.
ya'll must've missed the bit in the article - this occured in Argentina, not the UK. It's just that this article comes via The Daily Mail...
It only has to happen somewhere for the UK to get all over it.
