Some of my old iron and a modern 1911 thrown in for comparison.

Both drstangelove and Stomper are correct! It is a C96 Mauser also commonly called a broom handle Mauser. George Lucas dressed some up (or at least his props department did) and it became the Starwars DL44 blaster. Even though I am a fairly big StarWars fan I could not have rattled DL44 as the StarWars model number off the top of my head. Kudo's Stomper!

All of these are from the late 80's and 90's when I had my C&R license. Exclusive of the 1911 I probably have just about $1000 invested in the set. The Nagant (upper left) was $59 and the CZ52 (lower right) was $79. I got good prices on the others for the time.

My parents thought I was crazy at the time wasting so much money on old guns. My buddies couldn't understand what I saw in all that old crap. :)
