I have BC mags that have worked forever and others that are garbage. I have never had a Ruger mag of any kind fail. Ever. I have had the BX25 mags for only a little over a year. No signs of trouble at all. If you are buying new mags, buy Ruger. They are the best. Kip.

My experience as well. Not as much experience with the BX25s but all have performed well. I've had had good and bad experiences with BC mags.

If prices are the same or similar between a BC Steel Lip and a BX25, I'll take the BX25. The BX25 did a better job of cycling the cheap ammo I had.

Thanks for the feedback one and all. Think I'll go with the Ruger Mags - far less negative experiences it seems..........

The folks there have been there-done that with just about everything related to the 10/22. Very good info.
