I bought it used, so I cannot speak to the previous owner. I have put about 300-400 rounds thru it. It shoots as well as my other two P228's... which is to say good with a very controllable recoil. Slide/frame fit is tight. The new poly guns I have handled are not in the same league as these German made all metal Sigs.
