Is CPL still required even if I don't plan on concealed carrying it?

The CPL is so that I know you are legally allowed to own a gun so I would like to see one. Nothing personal. just trying to cover my own butt just in case. unless you want to pay for a FFL transfer.

Nah, you have to be 21 to pick up a handgun from an FFL and the same goes for getting a CPL. Sucks for me but looks like a good deal for someone else.
