It's the stamp on the barrel stating the twist and chambering. Usually there is a mark or abbreviation of the manufacturer with it.

How did you know the twist rate than? It's usually marked...

Just to be clear to everyone. The barrel is still available. I passed on the lowball offer.

The barrel is in almost new condition and shot great, if you're not concerned not knowing the brand and want a nice stainless fluted barrel this is it.
