I own a .44 mag desert eagle and i believe the grip is the same size as the .50 desert eagle i had shot. So if the above statement is true about the .357 grip is the same as the .44 grip, and I'm pretty sure the .44 is the same as the .50... Then you got your answer.
 
My understanding was that the .357 and .41mag shared a platform, and then the .44/.50 shared one. That's why you only need to change out the barrel and mag in the .44/.50 to swap and shoot.

Im with this guy too...I have 44 mag and all i need is barrel and mag to change to 50 ...but 357 wont work.
