P14 Bolt-Action Single Shot in .458 Win. Mag., BULL Barrel (1.250"), $240 (background check is on you), Local Only (Medford Area)
Includes reloading dies, 20 pieces of brass, and a partial box (40 plus) of 400-grain JSP bullets
After shooting my Ruger No.3 45-70 with "Ruger only" loads, a friend of mine had a Smith screw a full diameter (1.250") barrel on this P14 as a rock shooter.
He only used it as a single shot, But it looks like if either you used a pointed bullet (FTX) or ramped the front of the mag box that it would feed. It appears that the only reason it does not feed is the blunt (RN-FP) bullets he has abut the front of the mag box.
I've shot this rifle, and the recoil is mild===> because this rifle weighs approx. 18 pounds.
I will not ship it due to the weight of the rifle.
