We recently aquired this in a lot deal transaction through friends estate. This is a Remington Model 788 20"barrel chambered in 22-250. I would rate this gun as 8 in a 1-10 scale for condition. Stock is the higher grade style w/white inserts, no cracks w/regular war wounds expected with a fielded hunting rifle of its age (late 60's-early 70's)#600//// prefix.Blueing is in great shape w/wear at muzzle and a few other glitches. The front and rear sights are missing w/screws in place for the rear sight. It is eqipped with what I would guess is factory original scope or at least bought at time of purchase. It is a Bushnell BannerII 3x-9x which is currently sighted in (100yrd) The rifle comes with one Factory 3rd magazine and fac. swing swivels. Also included are 3 boxes (58rds-I had to at least shoot 2rds to test fire) of Hornady Superformance Varmint 50grn V-MAX.
