Palmetto is now building Romanian AK kits w/ a US barrel and receiver, similar to what James River Armory was doing before. This one came in two weeks ago and I cleaned it but I have not shot it. I still have the original box and manual. The fit and finish is beautiful. Matching bolt-carrier, front trunnion, dust cover, and wood stock. I did add a cleaning rod and a Romanian leather sling. This is the lever-type of Romanian wire folder. It locks open solidly, but has a little play in the closed position.
