NEW PRICE 2/17/10!
It's time to thin the herd. For Sale is my 07' Haro Sonix ‘Werx' w/ 120mm rear travel. This is Haro's top of the line Sonix. I've been on the bike 10 times at the most. I am more of a Freeride/AM type of guy, and I thought I would ride this over in Eastern Oregon more than I have. I cannot stand to look at it hanging in the garage going unused, so its someone else's time to get an awesome bike at a smokin' deal.
I built this bike up from a brand new frameset purchased from a Haro dealer during the summer/fall of '07. I have a very nice mix of high-end components & some mid level stuff that is rated highly & has served me well (all were brand new parts when I built this up). This thing is pretty light IMO, using the bathroom scale subtraction method; I come up with 28.5 pounds. I have the original sales receipt, Fox manuals & Haro manual. I put about $2400 into this build. Looking for $950obo F2F/local deal. If shipped, add actual packing & shipping cost by my trusted Local shop if shipped-probably around $90-$120. I'm also open to trades of all sorts -semi auto .308 rifles in good shape, 12ga O/U shotgun, .223 and .40 ammo, Magpul UBR stock, ???. Send me your ideas. We can work out the details.

Fork-07' Fox F100x. This has the adjustable bump threshold & super light yet stiff.
Shock: 07' Fox RP23, tuned by Fox specifically for this bike.
18" Frame in ‘Cream' white (I'm 6'0" tall & it is nice & flickable, but some may find this size frame more suitable for folks 5'7 or so up to 5'11").
Crankset: 07' Shimano XTR
Shimano XT front derailleur
07' Sram X-9 rear derailleur
07' Sram X-7 trigger shifters
07' Avid Juicy 5 hydraulic disc brakes
07' FSA XC-300 wheelset
Shimano LX 9 speed cassette
SRAM PC 991 chain
FSA Headset
FSA XC 190 riser handlebars
Hope 90mm stem in gunmetal grey
WTB seat
Raceface Evolve xc seatpost

I spent way too much time neglecting my family picking out components for this bike, using www.mtbr.com for reading way too many reviews. I have many of the same components on my current bikes & past bikes, like the brakes, shifters & derailleur's w/ excellent results. Here's a few links for you on some of the major components:

Looks nice, I wouldnt mind adding it to my stable, but a Large is going to be to big.

Interesting you went XTR and X9 rear with X7 shifters....

XO rear and X9 shifters work so nice together with the XTR, I was running it several years ago on my 575.

I wouldn't call this a 'Large'...Haro is kinda doing its own thing on sizing. My First bike was a Large and this is noticeably smaller. I think most companies list their large as a 19" frame, Haro lists this as 18"
I would say if you are an xc guy and are 5'11 or taller, you'd feel cramped on this. I like the smaller fit, as my FR/AM bikes are mediums, and I like that smaller frame size.
When I had got 1st 'real' xc bike, a Stumpjumper, it was a large (which is what 'they' say I should be on) and I always felt too high & it felt too long thru the twisties. Been doing Mediums since.
How tall are you?

As far as the drivetrain goes, I've used X9 & X7 on other builds, and they have worked great at a great price point--and if I smash them up on some rocks, Its not a $200 Rear Der in the trash! The XTR cranks were included in the frameset...I never would have spent that much on them if it wasn't OEM!
