WTS OR "SOLD" Custom Colt 1911

    SOLD Thanks for all of you that responded so kindly!:)

    Colt 1911 .45 ACP. Full size series 80.
    Lots of Ed Brown parts installed by gunsmith.
    I have not fired this beauty and don't know how many rounds have been through it.
    Looks to be in like new condition.
    Comes in it's original Colt case with all the paperwork.
    Included are two Chip McCormick 8 round power mags.
    Also included are two sets of grips. Pachmayr wraparound rubber and Colt engraved wood ( rosewood I think)

    It's a heartbreaker to sell…but rent is due. If my S12 sells, then I keep this.

    3 allen screws.
    Let me go and take a close up of it.
    I'll post the pic. at 1430 hours.

    I remember when NWFA had 500 members!
    Also, I sold it for more than I was asking on this forum.

    Out of curiosity, who did the custom work? I just got my Colt back from Wilson Combat. Best wishes with your financial situation.

    Another member on this forum had the work done. He couldn't remember the company that installed all the Ed Brown parts.
    The midnight blue finish was done by a company in Vancouver…and he couldn't remember that one either.
