What made you choose the upper and lower you did?

Long story. I was hoping to build an ArmaLite 308 rifle. Got a Armalite lower and build it up. Found out that it did not work with the upper. Found a completed lower the DPMS. And there you are. Took it out to the range and tested it. Now I have a completed Armalite lower. And a DPMS .308 rifle for sale. But no one want to pay the price for the Armalite lower. So, when I get around to it. I will get a Armalite upper and finish it.

I wish I had the money for this at the moment as I'm pretty much going to be trying to build THAT rifle after I finish my AR-15 rifle build... In short, I'm basically posting this to be kept alerted on changes in this thread. So... If you end up holding on to this for another month or so and I have the money to drop on it, I'll let you know. If not, too bad.
