This is the 580 Series with the heavier barrel profile and tighter machining tolerances throughout.
The gun came with Ruger 1" high rings for mounting to the receiver, and an optional picatinny rail. Also included a Choate handguard ($20), and M1 Carbine sling ($10), and a 20-round magazine ($30) that I purchased.
Nothing at all wrong with this rifle, it is a lot of fun. I just want to invest in some other guns/projects.
