Mix of parts, almost all Infland Mfg. Professionally Re-parkerized. Original 8-43 barrel matches the serial number. Shiny bore. Action cycles perfectly, no corrosion anywhere.
Front sight is slightly canted left, which is a fairly common flaw with M1 Carbines. The barrel flat and receiver are correctly indexed, which means the front sight key notch slot is off, something a good gunsmith could fix if it bothers you. This little rifle will hit the pie plate every time at 50 yards, and I don't believe they were meant to be sub-MOA weapons.
