Do you have to knock the primers out before taking them to the recycle center?

My retired father has been cruising yard sales at closing for free you haul stuff and recycling the metals. The recycle center takes his picture every time he as more than $10 worth or metal turned in. Oregon law since vacant house stripping is such a problem.

You could use all those steel cases for making iron oxide... and you could grind the aluminum ones into powder... mix the two together and you get thermite.

I took back a 5 gal bucket of fired range pick up (that you guys didn't want) along with all of the spent primers from reloading dumped in there. No problem. Used the cash to buy a new Chrono

I just took 28lbs to a metal recycler (R&S out on Orient Drive near Gresham). current price is 1.80$ per lb. No need to deprime.
