I grew up in NC and lived in the South some many years ago and I can tell you with absolute honesty that you ain't never seen rain until you have lived in the PNW...

Saw rain last year. One week straight of heavy rain, flooded Lumberton. Then the Hurricane hit and even more heavy rain came our way.

I was in South Carolina in OCT 2015 when the hurricane came buckets of water coming from the sky lol ruined the fishing for the whole time I was there had to resort to just drinking and BBQ once it passed

I've been retired for around 7 years now.
I got so relaxed and laid back I couldn't even muster the energy to go fishing.
Now you can usually find me laying down somewhere checking my eyelids for light leaks......

It may be nowadays, will see how the catching is.
25 years ago there were an abundance of all kinds of fish up there but I have heard that they (ADFW) has put many restrictions on a lot of fisheries like in the lower 48.....
