Just my opinion but there is no way antifa could have grown so big and done so much damage without government protection. They have been active for over 15 years and government did nothing. :s0093:
Democrats were happy to let the useful idiots destabilize the country while Trump was president. Antifa and BLM have been pawns in this political power game. You don't have to think very hard to be able to see the writing on the wall here for that party. Democrats have within there party self proclaimed: socialists, marxists, and Muslims who serve Islamic interests more than American. Not to mention, people who have been proven to sell this country out to foreign powers for personal financial gain.

I don't see this as a sustainable path for the country.

When one party rules the state of Oregon for thirty years its obvious that party is corrupt. Only an audit of the vote can get elections back to real.

Otherwise ask yourself "whats next?" :s0093:

The only legal alternatives I see is just exactly what the left has done...RESIST. Folks need to get away from being part of the herd manipulated by fakebook, twit, Google and the media. Get active in questioning folks in public every chance you get and turn the rules for radicals against the radicals.

Folks don't have much choice now, either resist or submit.....:s0093:

I'm going out to the garage to deprime some 9mm brass... also therapeutic.
It's therapeutic IF I remember to double shake all the cob media out, despite having stirred the brass well in my sifter, and don't wind up bending or breaking a decap pin, and then losing the retainer clip for the deprim rod and searching my messy garage floor, but not finding it, then having to steal a clip from another set of Dillon dies. (Dontcha LOVE run-on sentences???)

I quit for the day and went to Walmart, where it's back to 75% of people being masked... WTF?

Only in-person voting with ID and a hand count, get rid of those infernal counting machines, is going to help ensure a legal voting system. This mail in crap has been cheated too many times.

Also, I watched the Asst Chief of Potland Popo give a statement on Youtub....... he is weak and equivocates.... the head of the Union was much better.

Some critical thinking here:
So lets say the roles are reversed... you are caught in a chaotic riot and try to leave. The riot team blocks you in and you try to push through and they are all up in your face, fearing for your safety, you "accidentally strike an officer on the head with a baton (or your camera) with least amount of force after hes on the ground trying to get back up" to escape the situation because you think this is reasonable to do to get away and save your life...

Would you be arrested? Would you be charged with assault? As a civilian? If the answer is "yes", then the officer was absolutely reasonably prosecuted. They are not above the law and assault is assault, no excuse for it, uniform or not, officers need to be held to the same moral standards as civilians. If something is illegal to a civilian, then its illegal for the police too.

The others that resigned are just bullies who see that they won't get away with beating unarmed civilians anymore.

The price of red herring in China has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

Some critical thinking here:
If you're going to use critical thinking, you have to use context. This wasn't a 30 second incident, or an hour incident, or a day incident. This was day after day after week after month of physical assaults on these officers. These scum, including the POS with "Press" written on their shirts would do all manner of vicious attacks, be arrested, have the charges dropped and then be back rioting 30 minutes later. These officers were, and are, pushed to and beyond the brink all day every day. The only thing that amazes me is that the "victim" is still walking. I couldn't show that much restraint in those circumstances. Those cops are saints for not opening fire on these rioters. They should not be prosecuted for being human.

The rioters and Mike Schmidt should be prosecuted for mass murder for enabling the murder rate to rise 800% in Portland.

Took this shot of a billboard downtown PDX while walking the dog. Spokane County SD knew where to advertise.

So... what I'm hearing is... Folks are being judged by the company they keep.

Seems fair I guess.

So tell me, what are you doing hanging with rioters, arsonists and criminals all dressed in masks and black... before the cops come and declare a riot?

I'm pro-cop but not blindly so. I watched the video of the incident and it seems to me that the 4th degree assault charge (a misdemeanor) is probably warranted and the mass resignation of the RRT is not only unwarranted but is bad PR.

I understand Schmidt is a t*rd and has basically signed off on protester violence against the police. It seems unlikely Teri Jacobs is a purely innocent victim and, yet, it looks to me that Officer Budworth got in two late and unnecessary hits. I'm very sympathetic to the frustration of Portland police but this seems like the wrong case to put so much on the line for.

I just watched a clip of the assault and I have to agree that charges are well deserved. He was chasing her, he shoved her as she was running away from him and knocked her to the ground. The hit to the head may or may not be accidental, but to my that doesn't matter -- as far as I can tell she was 'complying' and leaving and he attacked her from behind.

Did you get to see what transpired right before?
There was a much longer video of that evening...
Did you count all the lasers?
That woman wasn't trying to leave. She came from the middle of a group of officers. She suddenly took off running. She was up to something.

Antifa/BLM videos usually start after the perp has done something to warrant what happens next. You get to see the "next" but they don't show you the "why".

To me the the baton push from the back looks un-necessary. And again in the face seems really un-necessary. IMO indicting the officer on criminal charges is WAY, WAY out there. I wish the police officers had the ability to contract a "Blue Flu" for a week.

If you are just protesting or covering the protest when the Police declare an unlawful assembly (we block a rd we get ticketed and arrested if we don't comply they don't get permits.) followed by declaring a riot. if you are still in the crowd you are now a rioter. When anyone fails to comply with a lawful order they should have consequences. if you are on the side that is hurling objects at the police and trying to provoke the men and women who are tasked with stopping the riot how can you feel like a victim? when the morons attacked the Capital no one cared an unarmed woman was shot to death. I think the police have shown remarkable restraint and wish they would be more aggressive in reclaiming the streets. I for one am tired of one side not being held accountable for illegal actions.

You've not only said a mouthful, but captured the true essence of the problem, in a single statement.

Assault a police officer ole Mike Schmidt gives you a pass…

As a police officer, try controlling a non-compliant rioter, ole Mike Schmidt throws the book at ya…

I suspect there will continue to be an exodus from PPB…. Then there'll be no consequences to those who practice lawlessness within the city/county limits. Consequences will only remain for law abiding tax payers…

You failed to state that if you hit the officer in the head with a club, ALL CHARGES WOULD BE DROPPED.

Antifa is the nazi brown shirts of the nazi socialist party by their actions. Not held to account because they work for the party in power. When that sinks in you will see our future by remembering the past. :s0093:

most in Germany didn't see the NAZI party for what it was until it was to late, OH that's right they picked out groups to hate and eliminate while they grew their power, they were violent to those who disagreed and they indoctrinated the children.

Huh…. Sounds so familiar…

guess that's what we get for not teaching the atrocities committed by the Nazi Party…. They were just a misunderstood group…

We are being divided into hate groups just like the past only this time people are armed to defend themselves. There won't be a roundup and put them on the trains when people can defend themselves. :s0093:
