I have a Taurus PT 145 that I would like to have the trigger worked on. I am in Medford, and am having no luck finding a smith that can do it. I do NOT want to have to ship this gun, (it's my carry piece) then I would have to add in the hole FFL charge to the cost of the work, and be without my gun even longer. Any advice, any one you know will work on Taurus guns ect.?

You can ship your gun anywhere in the USA,as long as there is no change of ownership you do not need to usa a FFL...

You do need an FFL to ship a handgun via US Mail. Federal law.

There's an older gentleman in Grants Pass who has a shop on G street right across from the little plaza there, went in asking him about an old shotgun I've got and he offered a really reasonable price. Might go in and have a talk with him.

Ed Boening across of the Bi-Mart on Jacksonville Hwy on the right. He's done my 10/22 trigger and lower and flared ejection port on my Colt... Reasonable price and nice work.

Funny thing, every one told me to go see him. I did, he told me that the only guns he would work on were 1911's. Seemed like a nice guy, just no interest in working on my Taurus AT ALL:eek:
It's all good, I traded off my Taurus any way. Packing a Glock G19 now, and best I can tell, I don't need a smith to work on it;)
