V12 LS1-We talk with the creator - You Tube

519 cubic inches of American V12 goodness! (Think about how smooth and efficient one of these would be with tuned port fuel injection.

The original 1976 Jensen interceptor had a 440 Chrysler engine with a 3 speed automatic. Today Jensen International Automotive (in England) is retrofitting these Grand Touring machines with a 6.2 Liter Chevrolet Corvette engine. You also can have them in an "S" configuration (supercharged).

I want the LS V12, because they will be about the same weight as the originial big block Chrysler V8 with a high-revving V12 engine that can churn out 712 horsepower @ 6300 rpm, and 625 pound-feet of torque @ 5800 rpm. Couple this with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission, and you can top out at more than 220 miles per hour and have the ability to cruise all day at 190 miles per hour. (No supercharging needed).

This would be the embodiment of high-speed Grand Touring.
