Yes Ryan, you are correct! They are indeed rubber bullets, however, they are special rubber bullets and must be fired from a Special Rubber Bullet Gun (SRBG)! This is opposed to regular rubber bullets that can be fired through any regular gun. SRBG's are manufactured so that SLP (Special Little People) like you won't hurt themselves. Now, now, sweetheart. It's for the best!

    Sir Jerry to the rescue!

If ever you need somebody to conduct a scientific experiment concerning firearms, this is the guy to request. (Bonus points for you if you hear the reference to "skirts.")

I was just reading that the 1902 olympics had pistol duels with wax bullets. Can we bring those back ?

It doesn't surprise me one bit. On more than a few subjects because of work, travel, curious interest or just my age, I know quite a bit. And on many, many, many occasions I have seen so called journalists get it soooo indisputably wrong!

And these are mostly non political neutral kinds of things to do with welding , basic physics, tools, geography, history etc., even guns L.O.L.! And I really think a lot of the ignorant gun talk from these news people is really just plain ignorance. Add the anti-gun bias they have to that and they really do start to sound stupid.

Ryan J. Reilly and his kind are supposed to inform us and make us less ignorant. I'm afraid he's pretty typical. A biased incomplete education and life in an insulated world of like minded family and friends with a one sided view of how things should be.

Didn't journalists used to be well rounded people? It should be a requirement.

I would think that rubber bullets would be heavier than the ear bullets....

Speaking of ear plugs...I always get a chuckle out of the rifle range scene in "Jack Reacher" where Robert Duval is using what look like 9mm rounds as ear plugs.

What? It ain't like someone is going to come up and whack the primers with a nail and hammer or something. That's the only way they're going to go off short of being totally immolated while they're in.

We used to use .45ACP rounds as ear plugs on the Army firing ranges. (Back in the day)

Nobody was worried about them going off...We just think it's a cool bit of "accessorizing" for the range.

I was raised doing that. And we also called up ground squirrels with spent 22 shells.
