So do you think we will see a repeat of the Sandy Hook Panic or something else?

I hate to even think about such things but unfortunately its the world we live in. I am hoping that most folks where like me and stocked up on things that where in short supply during the last panic. Of course if I had unlimited funds I would be buying stuff now because I am worried like most are that new unconstitutional legislation will be forthcoming after this latest insanity. The truth is though unlike last time I have my bases pretty well covered for spares and magazines. I would love to dump $20,000 on new guns but that is pretty much always the case and pretty much always not gonna happen.

So.... Are you guys buying? I know most of the folks here are smart enough not to participate in panic buying but there are always a few things that you should have already bought.

Where do we go from here?

I think it sucks that it seemed we where finally just about over the .22LR issues. I'm sure this will screw that all to hell too.

It will be more local in Oregon since the legislators didnt get recalled and they are just waiting for something like this to happen. I'd expect magazine cap limit and probably "Assault weapon" feature bans and probably limits to where CHL holders can go

I've been collecting what I need since the last time so I dont really need anything else to panci buy (except some AK mags which I did last night).

Localized to Oregon. Their super majority will push all sorts of things next legislative session.

I'm stacked deep in what I want.. All of my AR's will be made from 80% lowers from here on out with magazines from out of state in cash.

Yep, mag bans and "assault weapon" bans. I can guarantee SOMETHING is coming.
Maybe even a mini ammo panic.

    This sucks.

    Start the gouging now:
    I have 5 steel surplus AK mags, $250! ;)

as I've said before, all liberals need is emotional impetus to act on behalf of 'we the people' without telling us or even asking our opinion. Look south to California as a starter to what we can expect. Too bad I sold all mine - just not worth it anymore.

I am going over to Sportsman's later today to get a feel for what might be happening but I am glad all shelves on my reloading bench are now full....

You will have more regulations as long as the progressives are in charge, they are just like the socialist in Germany of many years ago and they want control over every one. So since you can't get rid of them expect it to get worse if you stay on the west coast.

Well I believe I saw the future some time ago:D, it was on a ranch in Nevada and crowds of people stood up to the guns of injustice to save a mans property. Until that comes people will be sparrowed out and their property rights stolen.

The Liberals fear a single man with conviction.
He is the one that plant's the seed in all other men's mind's that enough is enough!

We should all strive to be that man.

If you want to see the future of progressive gun controls just look at Kali. Gun stores will close, magazine bans, 12 day waiting periods, only some guns allowed in the state and on and on. Yet the criminals get better armed from over the border.

The gun controls will be just like the economic crash comming, what you will have when it hits is what you have in your possession now.

I think obamer is going to take this and run. He has already made it his last years mission to change gun laws as much as he can.

I have enough to get by. Im in a huge financial crunch though so I won't be buying much even if there is a panic.

His statement on "electing representatives who can change the laws...." Is telling I think he is realizing how limited his power is. It wasn't "new executive action" he put it in the hands of the electorate.

Yep, that is why you see big money go state by state bribing democrat politicions to come up with more gun laws. Bloomberg and some of the other big money guys fear an armed population so they spend millions to get our rights taken away. Leftist love to get paid for what comes natural for them, making more gun laws.

I am pretty sure most politicians loved to get paid. This country kinda runs on money, for better or worse.

So, I am old so I don't need to stock for the future but if I were a young man I would put away things that are going to be hard to get. Remember, the progressives are working to close the gun stores and highly regulate them if they stay open. What you buy today will end up either worth a ton of money or contraband and worth jail time.

Figure out what your life is worth and buy accordingly.
