There was a preparedness flyer in the Sunday paper. Snohomish County has increased their recommendation from seven(?) days of supplies to 14 days of supplies.
If all else fails I'll just need to borrow the neighbors cow for a few hours 2X a week to get some milk... lol
Look at it this way. 2 weeks of supplies would keep the "Raiding Parties" local!!!!!

A few years back I read an op-ed piece on preparedness in a local paper. The author's "argument" basically boiled down to:
Sadly, I suspect a lot of people subscribe to the author's way of thinking. If I even run across it online, I'll post it so others can get a glimpse into the unprepared mind.
- Preparing is stupid because one or more government agencies will save you.
- Guns are scary and bad, so you shouldn't have them.
