It is the "Airweight" series, I think they have aluminum frames. But I'm not sure. Why, is a S&W 637 garbage or something?
Yep. They have "aluminum alloy" frames. I have the hammerless version (Model 642) and have been carrying it constantly while bowhunting and scouting for nearly 20 years. It hasn't been shot a ton, probably less than 500 rounds. But it has stood the test over many miles of hiking, and in my younger years mountain biking after deer and elk. After all of those miles, it certainly isn't the prettiest gun I own. LOL. But, even with the lawyer lock, I would still recommend it.It is the "Airweight" series, I think they have aluminum frames. Well, my 442 says No. Maybe because mine is a lot older,70's or 80's vintage IIR
I've had mine for over 10 years. Picked it up for 200.00 bucks in the woodburn outlet parking lot. Those were the days. Haha.Mine says +P on the barrel. I bought it brand new in 2004 for $365.
Exactly. I've never really had a hankering to try +P in mine.they recoil hard enough with standard rounds
