Funny... I went through sigs, didn't care much for them. Really like CZ and really like these 3rd gens. I have a 5906, 4506, and 1006 in full size, and this 4516 and a 3913 in compact. I really bought them for the simple fact they're a dying bread and they represent the best of that breed IMO.

I decided I didn't need to dive into the 'let's collect all the 3rd gen compacts' pool. The full size pool is just fine.

I do understand the 3d Gen Love . They are in rarified company in terms of quality . My remaining two are 3913 and 3914, both LadySmiths . I'm taking them to the grave with me.

My EDC is a Smith & Wesson 386 Night Guard. It's an L frame and holster selection isn't the greatest so I made my own IWB kydex. It's starting to show holster wear and I can't stand it.

FWIW I have a 3913 that's going up for sale as soon as I have the time to post it. It's in nearly perfect cosmetic condition like this 4516.

The 1006 is one of those guns I won't ever sell. I drove to Bend to get that gun..... and..... I think it's the most expensive pistol I own. Either that or the 386 night guard. Either way it was expensive.
