Is the magazine cut off in the white [Not finished] on the ON side like this?

Not sure I understand the question. My rifle has the same part as that in the picture; ON is the up position, and OFF is in the down position.

Yeah, we talked via PM; it is shiny, as opposed to the OFF side which has a finish on it.

Beautiful rifle, i cant help but being that guy though. Are you sure you want to sell your dads rifle though? Ive seen enough ads and posts that have people regretting selling a family members firearm.

I have his M1 and Colt 45, which I use, and a Weatherby in 30-06, so am OK letting go of the 03A3, which I don't use.
