In case you are following the story. There is a Portland guy that says he went to the US guns store in Portland (employee's are members on the forum here) and made a facebook post about his questions about the AR15 and how he was confronted in the parking lot by a customer after. News story here

Portland man's Facebook post about gun store visit goes viral (http://www.kgw.com/life/portland-mans-facebook-post-about-gun-store-visit-goes-viral/246111621)

US Guns updated their facebook and have video surveillance that he made it all up

US Guns, LLC (https://www.facebook.com/usgunsllc/posts/506518556216394)

I think I might stop by US Guns today and and do some shopping to show them support of the people they have to deal with.

go there and ask them if they have any assault weapons for sale with a smirk on your face. LOL.

Why are you giving him such a hard time? He's just making up "facts" to support his politics like they do on the news every single night...

FFS, all the brain dead morons congradulating him for his "brave" post. And the scores of people in UK/EU defending being defenseless, calling gun owners paranoid psychos "just Lookit Australia!". Replied to by US hoplophobes claiming "most people here don't own guns!". GTFOH!

Old Buckley did finally get back to me, and told me he did not record this conversation, and was working from memory.

I then asked him a couple more, but he has no longer responded. I think he figured out I don't hate guns.

who was depressed... couldn't buy beer in Utah because it was Sunday, so he bought a gun and shot himself.

I can see why that would be depressing, though.

US Guns ought to thank Buckley for the free publicity.

I saw the original story on my Timeline, so just shared this one up so people could see both sides of it. Knew it wasn't accurate from the beginning, though. I've been to a few gun stores, and I've NEVER heard an employee answer questions like that, just sounded so made up from he get-go.

"I took a deep breath and determined to enter a Wal-Mart. A "greeter" met me with, "Howdy, welcome to Wal-Mart." I'm from the north. We don't say "Howdy". I sneer back at the microaggression and strain to hold back tears of rage. Barely controlling myself, I asked where I could find a BB gun. He directed me to "sporting goods," still smiling and gloating over his slyly delivered offense."

What is it like to fire a Daisy BB gun? (http://thepeoplescube.com/peoples-blog/what-is-is-like-to-fire-a-bb-gun-t18065.html)

That story was a complete fabrication; Wal-Mart doesn't have greeters anymore :)

Just so long as Costco keeps them for the future.

To read more than a few sentences requires that I log into Facebook. Not going to happen. I ditched my Facebook account years ago.

We can laugh all we want, but the made up hit piece was published in the local news and the "retractions" were pretty mild even though there is evidence to back up the gun shop. It's also still up on the liar's FB page where it continues to do us all damage.
