So what kind of air compressor would we need to drive a .30 bullet at the same velocity as a Garand?

Most air rifles are using 2000-3000 psi, most air gun manufactures sell hand pump compressors to fill the air tank on the rifle.
Not sure why you the limit is .36 =, why couldn't use a 50 cal air rifle? interesting

That's the max you can shoot within a 1/4 mile of a structure while hunting. If you were taking game in the open and it's legal, you could use whatever caliber.

As per WA F & W, July 23, 2010, No Air Rifles allowed for hunting.

WA F & G Pamphlet 2021, 2022 has no reference to airguns at all.

Time to get in step with the rest of the world.
