Used to go to the lakeview area, but not anymore unfortunately.

I'd be interested if I was closer. I would use them for 9mm and .40. A lot of people use small rifle primers in place of small pistol. In most cases they work very well.

Huh, maybe I'll load up a few and see if they work in handgun rounds.

Small rifle and small pistol are dimensionally identical, though the same isn't true for large primers. They say small rifle primers are a little hotter and a little harder than pistol, so I'd back off the load a little and work up.

It's worked fine for me. The only time I had a misfire was with a double action revolver, and I think it might have had a lighter than normal hammer spring.
