@Moderators

Do not misrepresent items for sale or trade

All items for sale or trade must be accurately represented. If others notify you of a verifiable mistake your ad should be modified. Intentional misrepresentation is fraud and will result in termination of your account.

Well this is great and dandy.
But what if it's something uncommon and the seller knows what he has. But other talking heads give there two cents of BS.

Thus taking a big ol' crap on your sale!
And the not so well versed Moderator side's with sh-t head when you complain about thread crapping?

My Hi Point really is MOA accurate and was found on Saddam Hussein when he was captured. The Glock 18 was a drop gun placed by special forces to help him save his last shred of dignity.

This rule is to address blatant misrepresentation. The buyer should always do their own due diligence. If it's not a blatant misrepresentation which is easily verified we'll likely leave it.

Also of note, this isn't really an issue here. It's been added so that should the situation arise, we can point to it in our rules.

There was a recent post on CalGuns, in the handgun discussion forum, trying to sell a new production Colt National Match for $2,200. Because National Match pistols are on the ATF C&R list, Californians can buy them new for $1300. People crapped on the thread, assuming that he was trying to misrepresent his pistol as a PPT-only scarce gun. He probably didn't realize that C&R handguns are exempt from the roster.

Understood.

I sent you a PM with my little story.
