I have been saving boxer primed 7.62x39 brass for many years, I have been buying bullets on close out for this cartridge for many years.
I am starting to reload for the 7.62x39 again using H-4198 for a SKS.
 
Sooooo.....how is that H-4198 working out for you? I usually use AA 1680 myself.
I works well. I have worked up loads to 25gr with Hornady 123sp and fmj light crimp to the groove with WLR and FC brass, the accuracy has been good from my SKS with open sights.
I was considering Accurate 1680 but H-4198 was $5/lb cheaper.

H-4198 meters pretty well I think Hodgdon shortened the length of grain, but I doubt it meters as well as Accurate's 1680.
H-4198 is one of their extreme powders which is less sensitive to temperature variations, which is a good thing where I live.
