SKS, WASR plinker or similar

I'm looking for something along the lines of an inexpensive plinking centerfire rifle like an SKS or inexpensive AK. Now that the price of 7.62mm ammo has come back down a bit I'd like to get out and do some shooting with my dad and brother. Don't have a lot to spend so just want a basic relatively inexpensive one that is ready to shoot (meaning doesn't need major cosmoline-removal efforts) and works. Cosmetics are less important, but reliability and fun to shoot do matter.
