SKS Type M Mag Conversion

Hi everyone.
I started taking machining courses at the college, and have been thinking of doing some mods.
I'm considering changing my Norinco SKS to take AK mags.
I saw some guys online that have done it, but they didn't give any solid info.
I have a good grasp of the bolt modification, but would like to know more about the mag notch.
Does anyone have a type M they could use to provide pictures?
Or I could meet with and take some measurements?
If it turns out, I might consider offering it as a service.

Are you SURE you want to risk modifying a Norinco since
all Chinese armaments (ie Poly-Tech) and ordinance imports have been banned since the 90's and not likely to ever change?

Plus if you change one thing out you have to change something like 7-9 components out to be legal - I can't remember the law number but I'm sure someone will chime in.

If ya want an AK then buy an AK imo.

SKS forums has all that legal info and will probably have the specs to modify it if you still want too.
