SKS Rear Cover

My SKS came with a rear cover that had a rail. I discovered that I don't really like having a scope on my SKS only after trying out 2 more rails.

I would like to buy (or trade) for a regular, plain-jane, rear cover for an sks:

I hear you. I've scoped my SKS and has its pros n cons. If no one coughs up a cover, you may check with Jerry Lee Gun Parts at Eugene, tel. 541-689-8017.

Or, if you are tired of the flimsy cover rails approach and don't mind tapping the receiver, check Choate's Scope Mount and drill-n-tap set, MidwayUSA products 435151 & 352438. Or, check the LaRue SKS rear sight red-dot mount. Or course, you'd need the std cover for it.
