    Pork roast and potato wedges.

    Pork roast............$4
    Potatoes..............$1
    Dinner for 4..........$5

Spice the roast and put it in the pressure cooker for 40 minutes. Release pressure add potatoes wedges and pressure cook 5 more minutes. If you wanted to get fancy you could make gravy out of the juice.

Looks good, and cheap is always a nice bonus.

If you're looking to add to your recipe book you can also use the same process to make Kalua pig. Just use hawaiian salt, a tiny bit of liquid smoke, and substitute the potatoes for cabbage.

Sadly I have to do the cooking around my house too (wife is "simple and cheap") That would be good with the cabbage and some caramelized garlic and onions too.

Thanks - been looking for other recipes for my pressure cooker. My old standby is either risotto or Moroccan chicken.

If you have any pork left overs then put some sweet and sour sauce on it and heat it then put it over "good" rice. Not all rice is the same and it must be cooked right, I like Jasmin the best. Add a side of green beans along with some cottage cheese and fruit.
