Hm-m-m. Well, here's the deal. I have silver myself. If I was to take it in to Liberty Coin, for example, they would pay me the spot price for silver for that day. Then there's the issue of determining the value of ammunition. I've seen lots of folks buying to resell at a profit. I'm OK with that. We live in a capitalist society. However, when it comes to trading, then how is the value for my ammo going to be established considering that most of the popular stuff is selling for more than the retail cost when it was purchased. A bit of a dilemma. It really boils down to something only being worth what someone else is willing to pay. All that being said, I do recommend that people have a few hundred dollars (or more) sitting in their gun safe.
