Welwyn Garden City was a 'new town' built to attract urban Londoners to a new and leafy countryside-style environment and cleaner living. It is still pretty nice.

And BTW, Ian, it is not pronounced Wel-Win, but Wellin.

Saying that BSA won't tell you anything about these guns is pure dwas - BSA stopped having anything to do with the manufacture of firearms of any kind around 35 years ago, and having had the name bought out, are more likely to have greater knowledge of underwater cake-making in Botswana than any WW2 activities.

FYI arms unlimited sells b&t modern day welrod suppressed pistols. But they cost a fortune.
