Sigp365 mag release

Was thinking about buying a sigp365xl frame for p365xl when I noticed it didn't come with a mag release! Even on the sig website it dosent come with one! Which is odd at the same price point of the p320. Question is are the p365xl mag release and p365 mag release the same? Can I just switch them over?

Yes. Funny you posted this as while I have the XL frame waiting in my safe, base plates for 12rd mags and a mag release are both still unavailable. My plan is to have both lowers ready to go so I only need to R&R the FCU and be good to go with either frame. Don't want to mess with the mag catch each time.

Yes the mag catch is a pain in the bubble gum! Switched mine over is wasn't bad until you put it in backwards!
