Is there a folding stock or is this a pistol? I see a hinge but I am unfamiliar with the weapon?

Yes, that is an area for a stock to be added. Sig Sauer and after market vendors I understand believe sell a stock for this but it as sold formally under the handgun category as it sets. Thanks for your question.
