Sig Sauer 226 question

I got a Sig 226 in 40 this weekend at the gun show, looking on ebay I noticed a slide, barrel and spring for a 9mm.

I was wondering Will my .40 frame work with this or are the completely different? I considered getting a 357 barrel but would like 9mm because of the price of ammo.

Let me know. And if its a dumb question, well it needed asking
