I am a big fan of the Romeo 5 XDR with a dot and circle around it. I find the circle makes acquiring the dot MUCH faster.

I have not seen a Romeo 7 with the XDR circle available which is why I stick with the Romeo 5.

The Romeo 5 is great. I've had two of them and they have always worked. I have not tried the Romeo 7 as I don't like bulky red dots. You might also check out the Holosun 530 and the Holosun AEMS.

I'm gonna agree with this. Romeo 7 is huge and heavy. Romeo5 XDR variant can be found for around $150 if you look around. AAA battery and circle dot / dot option for reticals. Don't love the mount but it is what it is: a budget friendly rds
