So it is a G26 competitor? I would love to see it come in at a lighter weight and smaller dimensions than a G26. Otherwise, a little late to the game.

Edit:

Just checked

It piques my interest! Only an oz and half more weight than the 938 and more capacity.
Though with the money I've already got in 938 mags and holster I'm sure I don't "need one".
Looks like it'll be an affordable option though.

P938

I like Sig, and this is a reach for even me.
The polymer pistol for that holds 11rds for $599msrp, shouldnt that be $400.... (come on Sig, your prices are too high, too much corporate)
The 290rs is lame and this looks like that with a double stack mag.
I have a P939SAS & two P229s, I will PASS.

^^^ +1

but I don't like sub compacts, so it already has a big bubblegum strike against it for me.

I am OK with Sig prices where they are. Sig makes excellent firearms and that level of quality costs money. Sig isn't supposed to be an economically "accessible" brand. If you can't afford one, buy a Smith, Taurus, Ruger, etc etc etc etc.

I'm personally stoked for this gun! In the articles I've read it's been compared in size to the Glock 43, and the Shield M&P 9.

Hopefully it performs well... But hey it's a Sig Sauer. They know how to perform "when it counts"

Da da tss

Just for your information, Northwest Armory in Milwaukie, OR is selling them for $499. Much better price, and comes with Night Sights. Though I think the 10 round flush mag is a waste and the extra mags you can buy are too expensive. $59 for a 12 Rnd. You can get a 21 rnd P320 mag for $58 msrp. I called Sig and told them their mag prices are way too high for that gun.

That is why I sold my Sig P320RX. Mag prices are ridiculous. Wish they would come down as I would love to pickup another RX and possibly this 365

Thankfully I own anSig Legion and can get 20% off on mags and accessories, so it softens the blow a little. However, the micro gun accessory costs should never be that high. Hope you find your way back to a Sig someday.

Not sure where that 'meh' comes from?! "Love ... lighter ... smaller ... than G26" - Except 1/8" in height, the P365 ticks all your boxes, it seems.

SIG updated the width to 1.06. Still a few hairs narrower than the 938.
Comparison pics I stole from Arfcom.

I do like the Sig P365 for the size & capacity it offers. I bought an G43 to get something smaller than my G19 for those days when I have to wear a suit. But since I put manual of arms pretty high when buying arms, I'll likely just buy the G26 since my G19 mags will work with it.

I got to hold the new G26 Gen 5 last week and it's really nice. Good choice if you're moving in that direction.
