SOLD Selling my almost brand new Sig P229 legacy slide assembly in 40cal with front cocking serrations and bright night sights. Barrel is brand new because I had installed a 357 sig barrel and slide maybe has about 50 rounds and was never holstered. $250.00 $225.00. Might consider trading something?? new Benchmade knife? maybe some 229 or 226 9mm mags something of equal value...make me an offer
Only reason for selling is I purchased a Rx caliber exchange kit from Sig.

The slide will come as a complete assemble including the .40 cal brand new barrel. The 357 sig barrel I sold to a friend a while back.

So I wasn't 100% sure so I messaged a buddy who is smarter than me...and he said if you have a P229-1 then it does not need to be changed but if it's an earlier P229 then it will need the new locking block to work properly. Hopefully this helps

Another friend suggested that if it's the older P229 you might have issues with mags also...so to be safe if it's a P229-1 you're fine but otherwise it wouldn't be advised.
