JUST OUT: The Sig Sauer 2018 Catalog Featuring the P320 M17 - The Firearm Blog
Sig appears to be queitly offering the Army's new pistol to civilians as well as our fighting men and women this year.
Despite my love for my M&Ps I may have to snatch one of these up. I like how the 320 handles. The M17 is not plagued by the drop&boom issues of standard 320s.
With Glock schlepping a poorly named, revised version of their failed MHS entry, this is a smart move on Sig's part. They can wave their arse in Glock's face a bit more AND say they are selling the exact same gun to civies, unlike Glock which either thinks we are too stupid to operate a manual safety, or does not want to admit that their standard guns may be less safe than a gun with a manual safety. Either way I find this humorous.
I will be snatching up a long slide M&P 9 before the new M17 though. Priorites & playing favorites after all.
