This Sig 551 A1 rifle the most rare version of the US made Sig rifle series as it has the Swiss factory folding stock and takes the Sig 550//551 mags as well as quite a few other differences from the standard US made Sig rifle (see below)

Sig America actually imported these folding stocks for use on this rifle so this is the same folding stock as used on the Swiss made sig 550 & 551 and again the rifles uses the factory Sig 550/551 mags.. Like the original Swiss made rifle. the rifle has ambidextrous safety levers, paddle magazine release, synthetic furniture and The bolt handle is on the right side, there is a rubber seal through which it passes to help keep debris out of the action.
In addition, the trigger guard may be rotated out of the way for cold weather use with mittens. A MIL STD 1913 rail runs along the top of the upper, Sights consist of a diopter rear sight adjustable to 300 meters and a protected post front sight.
Again this is the closest version of the Factory Swiss made sig 550 551 rifle that was produced in America by Sig.
This rifle is New in the Sig plastic hard case with 2 factory mags as it came from the factory.
Would also consider cash sale but would prefer trade.
